I love books. I've always been a reader. My mom instilled in me a love for books that has carried on to this day. And the Pizza Hut Book It program certainly helped solidify my pursuit of reading by bribing awarding me with some free food throughout my childhood years (also solidifying my love for the doughy, cheesy, meaty goodness that is this thing called pizza-brilliant marketing ploy). It's rare indeed if I do not have a few different books going at once. Usually a mix that includes some theology, history, a little fiction, books for personal growth, and some for pastoring. Some merit re-reading and so I very often have one of these in rotation as well.
I love pursuing knowledge. Reading the thoughts and ideas of others. Escaping to a world masterfully crafted by a skilled author. I love having my own conceptions challenged, stretched, and sometimes shattered.
